Thank you for taking the time to come to Finance & Flip Flops. There are so many reasons I’m excited you’re here, and I would ask that you take just five minutes to read about what this website has to offer you so you can get the most out of all the resources available to you.
First of all, my name is Dan, and I created this website to help you achieve your financial goals. You can read a little bit about my story here. In a nutshell, I’m a financial advisor who cares deeply about seeing you succeed in life.
Your Financial Journey
I want to learn more about how I can help you achieve your financial goals. In order to do that, please send me an email introducing yourself or take a look at where you fit below. I want to provide relevant financial help wherever you’re at on your financial journey, so let’s get started!
When you’re on your financial journey, you start as the walker, over time become the jogger, and finally become the runner. As you gain momentum, it becomes easier and easier to progress to the next level, and that’s exactly what I’m going to show you how to do. But first, let’s figure out where you’re at in your financial journey.
The walker is someone who is just starting out on their financial journey. Perhaps they’re in debt, don’t have much money in the bank or investments, living paycheck to paycheck, and don’t yet have a clear financial plan in place. They’re trying to make a little progress, but things aren’t moving rapidly.
If you’re the walker, that’s okay! At least you’re doing something!
My advice to you is to take a look at my blog. There, you’ll find a truckload of blog posts that will help you become more financially literate absolutely free of charge. As the walker, you’ll learn how to save money, how to build an emergency fund, how to budget, and much more over at the blog.
While you’re probably not ready for my services yet, the free content on the blog will help get you there.
The jogger is someone who has covered a decent amount of ground on their financial journey. By this point, they’ve paid off all their debt (except perhaps their mortgage). They have saved quite a bit of money for emergencies, have plenty of income to supply their needs with room to spare, and have started investing for their future (or have the money to do so).
If you’re the jogger, way to go! You’ve made quite a bit of progress!
As the jogger, it may be time to consider my services. I specialize in working with avid savers, pre-and post-retirees, executives, and those who need help managing their wealth. I provide personal financial planning, investment management, business financial planning, and employer-sponsored retirement plan services.

The runner is someone who is building wealth at an incredible rate of speed. Because of their lack of debt and their many years of investing, they are either close to living off of their wealth or have done so already.
If you’re the runner, you’ve made it . . . congratulations!
Don’t be fooled though, there are still many important responsibilities for the runner. Managing wealth is no easy task. If you’re a business owner, the recipient of stock options, or the benefactor of new found wealth, you’re going to need to make sure your wealth will last you the rest of your life. I can help you do that.
Thank you again for visiting Finance & Flip Flops. I’m so excited to see you through your financial journey!
